Breast Augmentation
Breast Augmentation surgery involves using implants to increase the size of your breasts or restore breast volume that has been lost.
Breast Augmentation is a personal procedure and can be a good option if:

Implant Options:
When choosing Breast Augmentation surgery there are many types of implants to choose from. It is important you understand the difference. Our practice offers Saline or Silicone as an option.
Saline Implants
Saline implants are filled with sterile salt water. Should the implant shell leak, a saline implant will collapse and the saline will be naturally absorbed. Saline implants are FDA approved for women over the age of 18.
Silicone Implants
Silicone Implants, also known as "the gummy bear" are filled with silicone gel. The gel feels more like natural breast tissue. If the implant leaks, the gel may remain in the implant shell. A leaking silicone implant will not collapse. Silicone implants are FDA approved for women over the age of 22.

Breast Mastopexy
(Lift)
A Breast Lift, also known as a Mastopexy, raises the breasts by removing excess skin and tightening the surrounding tissue in order to reshape and support the new breast contour.
In addition to a breast lift, some may consider the placement of a breast implant. An implant can provide improved upper breast fullness or cleavage. Implants can be placed at the same time as the mastopexy.
A woman's breasts often change over time. These changes can include loss of skin elasticity. On occasion, the areola may also become enlarged and a lift may help reduce this as well.

Weight Loss Surgery
Losing a considerable amount of weight can be an exciting time in your life; however the weight loss can also leave you with excess skin that requires a Plastic Surgeon to remove.
The elasticity of your skin before and during the weight loss process determines how much, if any, loose skin you will have. Younger skin that is more elastic may "snap back" more effectively to it's original shape. Older skin is less elastic and may not shrink back as well. Having excess skin is normally affected by how much and how fast the weight was lost.
